§ 12.11.75 - Remove Isolated Pixels

Scripting command: rip [Intensity=0...100] [Mode=0...3]

This operator replaces pixel components that are significantly different from their neighbors with an replacement value derived from those neighbors. Each of the red, green and blue channels is treated separately, so noise in one channel will not affect the other channels.

Replacement can be with an average of the neighboring 24 pixels (+/- 2 in every direction), of an average of the neighboring 8 pixels (+/- 1 in every direction), with an average of the left and right neighbors, or with an average of the neighbors immediately above and below.
