§ 19.6.3.6 - Submit

This mode replaces the lower channel value with the upper channel where the upper channel is darker than the value of the lower channels.

Submit differs from Minimum and Darken in that it uses the channel values rather than an average or luma.

Where the higher layer is partially transparent, the result is mixed with the lower layer composite in a manner proportional to the amount of transparency.
