§ 19.6.3.5 - Minimum

This mode replaces the lower layer value with the upper layer where the average values of all three upper channels is darker than the average value of all three lower channels.

Minimum differs from Darken in that uses the average instead of luma. When the content of the adjustment layer is greyscale, the results will be identical.

Where the higher layer is partially transparent, the result is mixed with the lower layer composite in a manner proportional to the amount of transparency.
