§ 19.6.4 - Adjustment Blend Modes
§ 19.6.4.1 - Brightness
Where the upper channel is brighter than 50% (32768), brightness is increased. Where the upper channel is darker than 50%, brightness is decreased. The range is zero brightness to 200% brightness.
Where the higher layer is partially transparent, the result is mixed with the lower layer composite in a manner proportional to the amount of transparency.
