§ 12.11.44 - Infill

Scripting command: infill [method=0...1] [texture=0...1] [xcent=0...50000] [ycent=0...50000] [mix=0...100]

Note: All available scripting operations are listed on the Script operator page.

Fills in an area with a color, or colors, derived from the edge of the area selection or an average of the colors in the area selection, optionally with a mix of texture colors from a specific location on the image.

In  Edge Distance    mode, the fill color of each pixel depends upon its distance from the pixels at the edge of the selected area.

In  Edge Average    mode, the fill color of all the pixels is the average color of the pixels around the edge of the selected area.

Texture Sources color texture from a location in the current image specified by Set Center.

X Center is the horizontal location of the center of the texture region on the image. You can set this manually, or by using the Set Center control.

Y Center is the vertical location of the center of the texture region on the image. You can set this manually, or by using the Set Center control.

Set Center temporarily opens the Center operator to allow you to set the center of the region the texture will be taken from if  Texture is checked.

Mix allows you to control how thoroughly the texture region is mixed into the Infill region. Zero is no mix, 100 is complete replacement.

Tip: Because the infill operation can take a very long time to run, there is no preview of this operation. Otherwise, changing control settings would incur repeated annoying delays.
