§ 12.11.19 - Histogram Equalization

Scripting command: histeq

Modifies the local contrast of the selected region of an image by statistically analyzing the brightness and adjusting same to achieve parity with regard to size of regions of particular intensities and the distance apart they are in brightness. Observe the changes in the image histograms to get some insight into how this operator affects brightness levels.
