§ 19.6.2.4 - Screen

Screen adds the layer to the sublayer composite. The result is limited to the maximum brightness of either the layer itself or the sublayer, whichever is brighter.

Screen is similar to Dodge, but less intense.

Where the higher layer is partially transparent, the content is mixed with the lower layer composite in a manner proportional to the amount of transparency.
