§ 15.10 - Rounded Rectangle

The Rounded Rectangle area selection mode allows you to create areas that vary from rectangular to ellipsoid.

The amount of roundness of the corners is set using the Area menu's Roundness control, which you can access by right-clicking on the area tool. Selecting this will bring up the Rounded Rectangle Roundness control which contains a slide control that allows you to specify the roundness of the corners of the rectangle.

Setting the control to 0% will produce a rectangle, and setting it to 100% will produce an ellipse.

This dialog can also be accessed by pressing the right mouse button while over the Rounded Rectangle icon.

The Rounded Rectangle is sized using the left mouse button and its position is altered using both mouse buttons. The current selected operation will be applied to the area when the left mouse button is released.
